Leaving Chicago and on our way to South Dakota. We spent the morning finding Sally from the auto pound. The total damage was $220 including the impound fee and the parking ticket we received when we were towed. I guess somehong like this always happens on roadtrips but just hope that the going will be a little more smooth for the rest of the way. Before we left Chicago, we had one last stop. We had lunch at Portillos. The Italian Beef was very very good. The chocolate cake shake that Fred got was also very good and taste exactly as it sounds.
This rate of feasting is not sustainable. We better slow down or we'll ballon up. Looking forward to the country road coming up. Stay thirsty my friends.
